Her Story...
Dr. Pack's journey originates in the picturesque landscapes of Sumter, South Carolina, where she first entered the United States Army on a pivotal day in September 1983. Her career as a professional Soldier spans an impressive 34 years, culminating in a well-deserved retirement as a Chief Warrant Officer Five.
Throughout her tenure, she embarked on overseas assignments that read like a global odyssey—Germany, Bosnia, Iraq, Kuwait, and Korea. Her roles varied from supply sergeant and armorer to battalion and brigade logistics noncommissioned officer. The trajectory of her career took a significant turn with her selection as a Warrant Officer Property Accounting Technician. After completing the requisite training, she assumed the responsibilities of a Brigade Property Book Officer and a Division Asset Visibility Officer.
Currently, Dr. Pack brings her wealth of logistical knowledge, skills, and experience to the forefront as a Multi-National Logistics Operations Manager at the United States Central Command in Sumter, SC.
Her military accolades shine brightly in her collection of awards and decorations, which include the prestigious Bronze Star with two oak leaf clusters and the Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters. Beyond her military achievements, she earned a master's degree in business administration/human resources from the University of Phoenix and a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership, demonstrating her commitment to continuous growth and education.
Beyond her military and academic pursuits, Dr. Pack is an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and proudly serves as the Worthy Matron of Divine Glory Chapter #196 of the Esther Grand Chapter Louisiana Jurisdiction. Additionally, she is a member of the Desert of Western Europe and holds the position of treasurer at Syene Court #176.
In the tapestry of her life, Dr. Pack finds joy in various interests and activities. Volunteering within her community, indulging in the pleasures of reading and cooking, and relishing moments of relaxation during vacations are among her cherished pastimes.
Her personal life is marked by a loving marriage to Mr. Ray S. Pack, and she takes pride in being the mother of two sons and one daughter, as well as the doting grandmother of three grandchildren.
