Dr. Pack's journey originates in the picturesque landscapes of Sumter, South Carolina, where she first entered the United States Army on a pivotal day in September 1983. Her career as a professional Soldier spans an impressive 34 years, culminating in a well-deserved retirement as a Chief Warrant Officer Five. Throughout her tenure, she embarked on overseas assignments that read like a global odyssey—Germany, Bosnia, Iraq, Kuwait, and Korea. Her roles varied from supply sergeant and armorer to battalion and brigade logistics noncommissioned officer. The trajectory of her career took a significant turn with her selection as a Warrant Officer Property Accounting Technician. After completing the requisite training, she assumed the responsibilities of a Brigade Property Book Officer and a Division Asset Visibility Officer.
